The Kollector's Edition of Mortal Kombat 1 will include the full content of the standard edition, the Kombat Pack, early access to the game on September 14, 2,700 dragon crystals (in-game currency), a 41cm statue of Liu Kang made by COARSE, an in-game character skin inspired by Liu Kang, three exclusive art prints and a steel briefcase.
The Kombat Pack includes a Johnny Cage character skin featuring the appearance of famed actor and martial artist Jean-Claude Van Damme (available day of release), early access to six new playable characters (available post-release) , and five new Kameo fighters (available post-release).
Developed by NetherRealm Studios, Mortal Kombat 1 will represent the rebirth of the Mortal Kombat universe, created by the Fire God Liu Kang, and will introduce a reimagined and never before seen version of the iconic characters.
By pre-ordering the game before Day One it will be possible to obtain the playable character Shang Tsung (code included in the pack).
NetherRealm's genre-shaping Story Mode returns with unexpected changes involving classic rivalries and the personal stories of a wide array of characters, including Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena, Shang Tsung, Johnny Cage and many others.
Mortal Kombat 1 will also introduce Kameo fighters: a host of character partners who will be able to assist during matches, expanding the gameplay possibilities.
